Historical queries.
The Company of Goldsmiths Dublin Assay Office have extensive archives going back to 1637. Queries must be submitted in writing or by email.
Questions that can be easily answered without much research are free of charge. However, if research is required we will engage the services of an archivist to investigate the query and a charge will apply, there is no guarantee of a successful outcome.
There are also a substantial amount of our historical records available for inspection on micro film in the National Library.
