Hallmark identification.
If you have a piece of Dublin Hallmarked silver, gold or platinum The Dublin Assay Office can identify and explain all the marks for you.
It is important to remember, however, that the maker's mark (sponsor's mark or responsibility mark) will only tell you who registered the mark and submitted the item to be assayed and hallmarked - which may or may not be the manufacturer of the item it could be the mark of the importer or retailer.
